Intelligent Weight Distribution

In a racing quad, the heaviest component is the battery — so its position defines the quad’s CG. In hover, the battery sits vertically, reducing frontal surface area when pitched forward for fast forward flight (FFF). Electronics are stacked directly above the battery within the same footprint, with the camera mounted at the nose and clear of the propellers. The motors — the next heaviest components — are positioned so their combined CG aligns with the battery, creating perfect balance.

The Plus Configuration Advantage

The Aeracer uses a plus configuration for multiple benefits. In FFF, the horizontal boom generates additional lift, reducing throttle demand at speed. Every design choice is about minimising surface area and improving aerodynamics. Pure roll and Pure pitch require only 2 motor speed changes not all 4.

Aeracer 6 HD – High-Speed Cinematic Capability

The Aeracer 6 HD scales up the Aeracer 5 by 4/3 to fit the DJI O4 Pro Air Unit inside a sleek, aerodynamic canopy. It’s optimised for:

• High-quality video capture at high speeds

• Extended range with the ability to run 6” props

• Exceptional handling with 5.1” or 5.5” props

Early tests revealed vibrations with 6” props due to yaw-axis boom flex. Drawing on Simon Jardine’s Aero Ring designs, we integrated a structural ring to stiffen the frame — unlocking the full potential of 6” prop performance.

• Dimensions: 224mm Dia for motor centres, Fits 20x20 25.5x25.5 or 30.5x30.5 FC's. Fits a Tattu RLine V5.0 6s 1050mah (76mm x 38mm x 33mm) or 4s 1300 mah. The 4in1 sits in the top of the battery cavity, so choose any that fits 38x33 with room for wiring.
• Weight: 513g AUW with 4s 1300mah, printed in PETG with 3 wall loops & 5% gyroid infill.
• Material: Print with PETG, PLA Tough+ or PA-CF20 for strength and stiffness.
• Compatibility: DJI O4 Pro Air Unit, Flywoo Goku F722 Pro Mini & G45M 4-in-1 AM32 ESC. TBS Crossfire Nano and Immortal Tee.
• Motors: Tested upto 2207 2750kv. 16x16 Mounting Pattern.
• Props: Tested up to 6" HQ 6x3x3 props on 4s 2750 kv with ring. 5.1 or 5.5 props fine without the ring.
